Yes, you have the correct NM Cross website. Things have changed a bit, and will continue to change until the polka dot tutu fits perfect.

Barriers and Grass
It's time! The plastic barriers will be set up, and we'll have a basic course layout. Not a race, just some practice over the barriers and some grass riding. Not a formal event, just a gaggle of CXers up to no good.
If it's your first time, we'll go over some basic progression for barrier activities. (Now that sounds formal!) There will be at least one new junior racer there, so bring your new racers also.
Cross Cruces Practice Races
Every Thursday in Las Cruces!
Don't forget, they have a race in the series this year also! The Las Cruces crew is alright! (Even if they do use gears)

GO!
I’m in the front of the race, with about 160 racers behind me. The Police are taking us to the first turn onto dirt. A few miles later, and the race is on. I’m still in the front group, as we dwindle down to about ten. Around miles 15, I notice the front tire is losing pressure. DAMMIT! We’re approaching the first climb, and I have to pull over to put a tube in the front. We had been pushing a headwind, but in a pack, exactly what I had hoped for.
Dirty Kanza 200
OK, so a CXer from New Mexico has been offered a spot on the start for the Dirty Kanza 200. Now, he needs to find a support driver. I don't know that a support vehicle is necessary, since the course routes through local communities with plenty of supplies. I guess the risk is breaking somewhere remote, and needing a lift back to the start/finish area.
If anyone knows of another racer headed up there, share the info, maybe our local guy can share support vehicles.
Who is our local guy, you ask? He requested anonimity (?) for now. But he is awesome!

CX is NEVER Over!
Yes, the series, ended, the national championships happened, and then some trivial events in Europe, but CXing never ends. The San Ysidro Dirty Century is coming up soon. But what happens after that? Well, it's time for us CXers to get creative.
I know some are out doing the roadie shuffle, and some of us are doing the dirtbag shuffle, but we should put something together that resembles a CX race/ride, maybe 100ish miles with lots of climbing. Round the moutnain exists, we could take the dirt route to Clovis, but something different is what we need. (continued)
World Championships in Kentucky?
The Hatfields and McCoys better put down their flintlocks and get their cross bikes up and running, the World Championships is coming to Kentucky in 2013! Lexington will host, well, thousands of swill consuming, french fry eating, monk beer worshipping, cow bell ringing, hawg calling, cyclocross fans.
CX Nationals
CX Nationals
That was the most fun I’ve had in the cold, since the power went out on Christmas. What a week of racing! Temperatures were low, but steadily climbing as the days went on. The most exciting thing to happen all week was Tiziana DiHorney putting on that Stars and Stripes jersey! And of course the worst thing to happen all week was her brother Callum’s unfortunate mishap during the “Lunch Time World Championships” on Thursday.
