I hope everyone rented their cap and gown, because New Mexico Cyclocross is graduating! We have outgrown the combined A and B races; as several people mentioned, what a great 'problem' to have. We had 87 racers on what was a taxing but fun course; the only thing it lacked was loose sand.
I want to thank everyone first for coming out, but also for being flexible with our, err, 'evolving' course over the last 30 minutes before the event started. I greatly appreciated that many of the racers helped moved flags when the course had to be re-routed around the soccer fields, and it was a HUGE help having volunteers taking down the course after the race.
The officials were great and didn't kill those of us on the organizing crew despite having a field of roughly 70 racers on the course at once. Scoring that many riders is tough, but it's even harder when the start is staggered and the races are different lengths; those issues should be solved next week.
Results: I have the 3rd carbon copy of the results sheet, so in some cases I�m just taking a guess about the spelling of names; please accept my apology in advance if I butcher your name.
