I know what you're thinking. IT'S NOT A CX RACE, YOU STUPID COW! But, the High Desert Screamer is one of the best CX bike races in the NM Off Road Series. The best trails in the state for a CXer, some rough stuff, but mostly cruising singletrack.

Depending on which mtb CAT you run, your race may be short- 7 miles, or long and fun- around 20-30 miles.

Think of it as a great training race for the crap that Stephen will put us through at Mesa del Sol. And feel free to dismount anywhere you desire, I'll be "running" a few sections on my SX.
