UCI has just decided to allow wider tyres, and disk brakes in CX! SWEEET!
Now Speaking of going Topless,
I have completed getting my nipples capped with Chimay caps... One blue and one Burgandy in color.... No more twisters from the Mad Cow!!!!!
For those heading to Seattle this year, I just moved to NM from Seattle, and have a large network of racer-friends. If places to crash etc are needed, we can work on some of these things ahead of time.
If you want to buy real estate, you will have to receive the home loans. Moreover, my brother all the time utilizes a short term loan, which is really rapid.
I would like to say that I'm from Louisville, Kentucky and moved here 2 years ago and have been racing in New Mexico cross since I've been here. I started racing cross in Kentucky when I was 16 and can vouch for the mud, rain, and mayhem that is derby city cyclocross. Here is the article I read: http://www.usacycling.org/news/user/story.php?id=4646. It says that the 2012 and 2013 Cyclocross World Championship will be held in Louisville (not Lexington). Louisville has been one of the sites of the National Grand Prix of Cyclocross since 2007 and will surely not disappoint for the first world championship ever held in the USA.
There I was with a flat that I shouldn't have got. Thanksgiving weekend. I'm pulling the tire off to insert a tube, and I find something in my tire. It's a 8 inch long Caffelatex "tongue"!
About 3/4 inch think, and perfectly formed in teh tire, to the shape of the tire. That explained why the one goathead I found gave me flat that didn't seal.
Why did I wait this long to report? I didn't want to cause my secret supplier any problems with a bad report, especially since he heavily investd in teh stuff.
I'm back to Stangoo, at least until I start making my own moonshine, I mean sealant.
Nit picky grammar and content readers! What would I do without being harassed (especially for spelling). The thought was "a SS warmup for the SS race at states". Were you reading upside down again?
Besides, if you only ride once a week, like some of us, then racing is training anway, and that one chance at riding is a warmup for the next weekend race, etc., etc., etc.......... So, by the time the last race of the season comes around, some of us are actually warmed up and ready.
I know one local who'll be under the lights! He'll get heckled like never before!
Wish I was going.
Moo!
My brother, Matt, is registered for this event. Should be exciting.
Russ,
This event is in Albuquerque.
Greg
I am new to this area, is this in Albuquerque or Las Cruces?

Yes, it's an mtb site, but DK200 is a cross race.

After this race, I'll be writing a book, called "How Not to Train".
Make your own life easier get the business loans and everything you need.
Rumor has it that our local guy did get registered, and is going to Kansas.
Sorry about the geographical faux paus. The affects of the "L" word are quite overwhelming.
