I'm mostly just posting this so Chris doesn't feel too lonely on this forum... Sorry Cow, you are now only responsible for 98% of all posts on the new and improved nmcross.com forum.
I'm moving at the end of the month. I'm very bummed to be moving, but I was able to get a teaching job in Washington that I couldn't resist. I get to teach the next generation of tree-huggers how to conduct environmental research.
As a farewell, and because I'm 35 lbs overweight and need to get going if I'm going to salvage my season by December, I'll be creating a course at Mesa del Sol on Sunday the 16th. If you aren't going to Silver City for the mtb race, join us. Please do the TT on Sat. so your legs are good and sore before you even start the race.
For those that have never ridden Mesa during Monsoon, or Non-soon season as the case is this year, it's amazing; the sand is hard-packed and fast.
Since it's hot these days, let's get this out of the way in the morning, say 9am start.

Hmmmm. This might be worth the trip down from SF. 35 lbs. overweight? I might not get lapped!
