The nmcross.com calendar does not seem to match up with the newmexicosportsonline.com registration site regarding the location of the first race.

NM Cross has Saturday at Polk, while the registration site has it at Rio Bravo. I like both locations, but would generally prefer to show up at the right place at the right time.

Is there going to be a single page with the complete list of dates and locations all in one convenient place?

Todd, those venues are only 4 miles apart. If you go to the wrong one, no big deal. 4 miles is what, maybe 3 paces for your ridiculous clown-on-stilts legs. Think of it as an adventure race, with a cross race thrown in the middle.

Relax, even not knowing where the races are going to be, Vegas still has you at 2:1 to win both A races this weekend.

Warning: Silva said he's gonna' pull this on you in the sand..

I'm more worried about my fan club. I don't want to inconvenience them with the location.

I am trying not to overstride when I run, so that would 5 paces, not 3.

Silva is going to post on an internet forum that it was cheap for me to let COW cross wheels behind me?

It's a new strategy- If half the racers go to the wrong location, there's a chance that the racers who went to the correct location will be do twice as good. (How's that for Cow logic?)

Implementing this strategy is tough, if not impossible for most. I was entrusted with the Holy Grail of CX (nmcross.com) and I can manipulate the masses with a mere line of text! Ponytail Man warned me, though, he said "With great power comes great responsibility." He said not to hold a race if I am not going to let anyone know where it is. He said that even if you do win, those events turn out pretty lame, at least all fifteen times he did it. Yes, he said he won 13 of those, but I don't know how he lost the other two.

Pilger's #1 fan here. Why didn't he win this weekend? It MUST be a conspiracy. Todd always wins. You've seen those #1 Dad t-shirts. He has one that says, #1 Todd. He's so bad-ass, he also has one that says, #1 Chris.

Seriously, did you all rig the course so he didn't win? That can't be it, no course can contain the Pilgeator. Did he stop half-way through to convince the Noble people to give someone else the Nobel Prize for a change? or was it a simple mistake because you all only have a high-speed camera, and not the necessary warp-speed camera to read his number? Was there a grassy knoll? Wait, there is a grassy knoll at Harrision. That must be it.

If I were the rest of you spandex-wearing racers, I'd be shaking in my Sidis. Pilger's gonna' eat some spinach and get Popeye on you next week. You've been warned...

I saw lots of tears, not tears of joy either. I think we all just miss the Ponytail Man so much that we can't control our selves, or our bikes. Yes, the Pilgerator was wandering around, bumping into trees, even without his bike, shouting "Where's Ponytail Man, where can he be?"

Maybe he's contemplating a switch to the darkside- ...........!

Tune in again next week for the continuation.

If we had cut the pony tail off when we had the chance, I could have dressed up like a Viking and ran around beating a drum and waiving the pony on a very long stick at people.. dangling it in front of McCalla and Kerr, etc... as inticment to go faster...
Plus we would have had more out of state racers traveling in to the series( look how many came... Las Cruces, El Paso even ARIZONA!!!) all because they thought there was a PonyTail prize....

That IS why the races were so much more competative this weekend!

Cow looked like he was suffering from SHOCK and AWE syndrome and may be diagnosed with PTSD

former never was, has been

I haven't done one cyclocross this year but I know of a great new possible course. Cross streets are universe and paradise, behind CNM west side college, . . .three football fields at three different levels and continguous with one another. Lots of lighting, I ride there at night. Owned by City of Albuquerque. Check it out. I almost didn't want to let anyone else know about it, . .it's mine!!!!
